The  Secretary  of  the  Department  of   Education BR. ARMIN A. LUISTRO FSC makes its history for the first DepEd Secretary to visit the Sagrada National High School grounds and premises.

It is our honor and our pride that finally, the school were able to reach another steps in history for participating in the Environment Preservation (Forest Park) project organized by the Provincial Government through Hon. Lray Villafuerte, Governor of Camarines Sur.

The Forest Park is developed through internal and external stakeholders; the school faculty & staff, parents, students, barangay councils and provincial delegates.

The chairman for the development of School Forest Park is MS. MARIA MARLY S. MAGISTRADO, school Physical Facilities Coordinator and Guidance Coordinator.

Batch 2011 successfully ended up their Senior's Recollection last February 18-20, 2011.

A stay-in recollection for Fourth Year students ended up successfully with a Eucharistic Celebration last Feb. 20 with Rev. Fr. Eduardo C. Pesigan III, Parish Priest of St. John Marie Vianney, San Ramon, Iriga City.

Sagrada National High School students actively participated in the SmartSchools My Teacher, My Hero Wall contest. A joint project of SmartSchools (Smart) and Department of Education (DepEd) for students to say thank you to their teachers.

Sagrada National High School joyfully participated the Novena Mass for the Feast of St. John Marie Vianney, the patron of the parish at San Ramon, Iriga City, on its 5th day of Novena Mass conducted July 30, 2009 at 7:30 in the morning.

Some teachers are also present in the celebration, together with the other schools sorrounding the vicinity of the parish, which includes Antipolo Elementary School and Sagrada Elementary School.

The mass was precided by Rev. Fr. Eduardo C. Pesigan III, Parish Priest, St. John Marie Vianney Parish, San Ramon, Iriga City.

The mass was conducted at the Vianney Hall, since the Parish is being renovated and construction is going on.


Nutrition Month Celebration Conducted last July 30, 2009 with Mr. Daniel T. Cabaltera, Elementary School Teacher of Sagrada Elementary School.

GSP Participation

Sr. Girl Scout Joniebel A. Amparado of troop No. 41 and Sr. Girl Scout Angelica B. Cuya of Sr. Troop No. 321 both Third Year Narra students are presently working on Chief Girl Scout Medal Scheme, the highest award that a senior girl scout can achieve.

They are presently working on the area of ecology - Tree Growing along the road. This is their own little way of contributing to the solution of environmental problems.

Their troop leaders are Mrs. Salvacion B. Felices and Miss Maria Marly S. Magistrado, respectively.

The final evaluation will be on February 2009. If they win and qualify, they will be awarded this September 2009 at Malacanang Palace with the chief Girl Scout, President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo.

SNHS GSP Participated 2008 Citywide Encampment

Different schools participated the 2008 Citywide Encampment last October 16-19, 2008 at Iriga South Central School. 19 participants per campus with 2 troup leaders are the delegates. The GSP from Sagrada National High School received the following awards: First to Register, First to Construct the Tent, Best Patrol Yell (Oracle Patrol), Most Prompt Patrol (Oracle Patrol), and with the special participation of Marjorie P. Sadion who received an award on Best in Improvised Gown and Miss Senior Camper 2008 out of 18 candidates. Their participation is highly organized by their GSP Coordinator, Mrs. Salvation B. Felices.

11th Philippine Mathematical Olympiad

The 11th Philippine Mathematical Olympiad Qualifying Stage (Bicol Region) was conducted last October 18, 2008 at Ateneo de Naga University. It was participated by different public and private schools from Bicol Region.

It was participated by four schools from Iriga City, namely University of Saint Anthony (USANT), Sagrada National High School (SNHS), Sto. Nino High School, and RNTVS.

The contestants from Sagrada National High School are Eljazer C. Barroga from second year and Joniebel A. Amparado from third year level. Their coach is Mrs. Salvacion B. Felices.

The results will be posted further on this website, and on the website of Ateneo de Naga University on November 10, 2008.

SNHS Participated STEP Contest 2008

The following events were participated by students of SNHS:

Lamp Annunciator Wiring Installation by Jeric P. Dacer of III-Narra, with his coach Mr. Melvin G. Magistrado who gained participation for regional level. From October 15, they will be competing region wide contest at Camarines Sur National High School, Naga City, with Ms. Maria Marly S. Magistrado, his coach.

Bookkeeping using MS Excel, participated by Romeo N. Toralde Jr., from III-Narra, who rank 2nd among four who competed for this event, his coach is Mr. Michael A. Villareal.

Electronic Poster Making, participated by Mark Joseph L. Belleza, a second year student from Eagle, his coach is Mr. Michael A. Villareal.

Cake Decorating, participated by Angelica B. Cuya, a III-Narra student, with her coach Ms. Marecil T. Diaz.

Fruit and Vegetable Carving, participated by Evelyn P. Medina of I-Sampaguita with her coach Ms. Marecil T. Diaz.

Table Skirting, participated by Bemberly T. Imperial of IV-Rizal with her coach Ms. Marecil T. Diaz.

Dish Gardening, participated by Jaspearl P. General of I-Sampaguita, with her coach Mrs. Elenita B. Cuya

Mr. STEP, participated by Mark Angelo C. Lebilo, of III-Narra, with her coach Mr. Melvin G. Magistrado.

Techno Quiz, participated by four students namely, Joyce S. Arbaja, IV-Rizal, Joniebel A. Amparado, III-Narra, Yhasmin Kay B. Cuya and Eljazer C. Barroga, both from II-Eagle, with their coach Mrs. Marecil T. Diaz.

Other Events and Activities Participated

19th National Science Super Quiz Bee, Iriga City Division, participated by Joy M. Adante last September 17, 2008 at San Miguel Elementary School. She ranked Champion, with her coach Mrs. Pinky M. Comprado.

Sports Writing Filipino Regional Training of School Paper Advisers, participated by Jerozah S. Fornel last August 26-29, 2008 at Casiguran, Sorsogon. She racked First Place.

6th National Leadership Training for Student Government Officers, participated by Meynard E. Bagalacsa, student, with Mr. Joseph M. Belleza, Adviser, last September 5-10, 2008 at Teacher's Camp, Baguio City.

Regional Training for School Paper Advisers, participated by Jerozah S. Fornel, student with two advisers Mrs. Judith C. Torallo and Mrs. Leny N. Toralde last August 26 to 29, 2008 at Casiguran, Sorsogon.

Masining na Pagkukwento Regional Contest in Filipino, participated by Rechilda I. Hertis who ranked 4th place at Baao National High School last August 28, 2008 with her coach Mrs. Rosalie Z. Mora.

Post Test - Math 2, MTAP Saturday Class, Eljazer C. Barroga, ranked 2nd in the Division of Iriga City.

Conference on Upgrading and Reclassification of Teachers RELC, participated by SNHS Teacher In Charge, Dr. Ludevina Ester De Lima Bolante at DepEd Region V, Legaspi City last August 29, 2008.

25th Regional Trainers Conference, participated by Ms. Maria Marly S. Magistrado, GSP Iriga City Council Board Member at Queen Margarette Hotel, Domoit, Lucena City last August 15-17, 2008.

YECS Training Workshop, participated by Angelica B. Cuya, student with Ms. Maria Marly S. Magistrado, Adviser at Teachers Camp, Bagui City last July 26-30, 2008.
